What is a DPF?
The Data Privacy Framework (DPF) is a program developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in coordination with the European Commission that enables U.S. organizations to receive personal data from the European Union in compliance with EU data protection law. Under the framework, participating companies commit to a set of privacy principles and oversight requirements designed to protect personal information when it is transferred across borders. In simple terms, the framework provides a recognized legal mechanism for transferring personal data from the EU to the United States while maintaining strong privacy protections.

These new compliances further showcase MetaLocator’s preexisting dedication to data security. MetaLocator has already completed the steps to be compliant with SOC2 Type I and Type II certifications.
